An anonymised string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using the service. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After your comment has been validated, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.

If you are a registered user and you upload images to the website, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF data of GPS coordinates. Visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.

We use the personal data collected via our contact forms (first name, last name, email, etc.) to contact you personally or to send you our newsletters.

Your data will never be shared with a partner for commercial or marketing purposes.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles…). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were on that other site.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third party tracking tools, track your interactions with these embedded contents if you have an account logged on their website.

When a user of Analytics requests anonymisation of IP addresses, the system will do this as soon as technically feasible, at the earliest possible stage of the collection network. The anonymisation feature of Analytics allows the last byte of IP addresses for IPv4 addresses and the last 80 bits of IPv6 addresses to be replaced by zeros in memory, shortly after they have been sent into the Analytics collection network. In this case, the full IP address is never written to disk.
